I've been working on an iMac since the beginning of 2008. It's jammed full of RAM and filled to the brim with various different programs.
My program list consists of the following:
Adobe Photoshop CS3
Adobe Photoshop CS3 is the program for nearly all image files - unless of course, they are vector. I use Photoshop CS3 for not just editing photos, but for creating images for websites and designers banners, flyers and various other materials too.
Adobe Illustrator CS3
Adobe Illustrator CS3 is what takes over from Photoshop when vector files are in use. I design all logos in Illustrator CS3, and becuase of this, they are all in vector format; this means they can be blown up to whatever size you want without pixelating!
Adobe Flash CS3
Adobe Flash CS3 is a programme that enables me to design banners and other objects where moving imagery is involved. For instance if you want a short sequence of repeating photos or a 360º moving image of a room then this is what I'll be sat working on.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 is the programme used for creating websites - however I rarely use it unless I need to - or requested to by the client of course.
Taco HTML Edit
Taco HTML Edit is where I design websites. Its a simple text editor that enables me to hand write all code - this means I'll be sure that the sites I design will be valid with Web Standards. I use not only XHTML and CSS to design sites, but also a PHP to create various web forms.
